Peter Zeniewski
Senior Energy Analyst. Dr. Peter Zeniewski is a Senior Energy Analyst at the IEA. His main area of focus is the outlook for natural gas and LNG – covering long-term assessments of supply, demand, trade, investment and pricing. He has also led projects on energy affordability, biogases, India’s energy outlook, and emissions from oil and gas supply. Prior to joining the IEA, Peter was a Chancellor’s Fellow at the University of Edinburgh and held positions at the European Commission and Wood Mackenzie. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Oxford.

Teresa Ribera Rodríguez
Executive Vice-President for Clean, Just and Competitive Transition. Teresa Ribera Rodríguez has served as Executive Vice-President for Clean, Just and Competitive Transition at the European Commission since December 2024. Her previous government roles include Spain's Minister of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge and State Secretary for Climate Change. Ms Ribera Rodríguez has also held senior roles at environment and sustainable development organisations around the world.

Mary Burce Warlick
Deputy Executive Director. Mary Burce Warlick is the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). A retired career diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Ms. Warlick has held a variety of senior leadership positions at the U.S. Department of State, National Security Council and Department of Defense, serving in Washington and abroad. From 2014-2017 she served as the State Department’s Principal Deputy and Acting Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs and represented the U.S. on the IEA Governing Board Ms. Warlick holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy.

Ali Saffar
Head of Division for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Ali Al-Saffar is the Middle East and North Africa programme manager at the International Energy Agency, leading the IEA’s engagement with the region and acting as a key advisor to the executive management. Prior to this role, he was an energy analyst at the Directorate for Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks, where he co-authored seven editions of the IEA’s flagship long-term forecast, the World Energy Outlook.

Dave Turk
Former USA Deputy Secretary of Energy. Dave Turk joined the IEA in September 2016 and is currently the Acting Deputy Executive Director and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Office. He formerly served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Climate and Technology at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he coordinated the Department’s international clean energy efforts. He also previously served as Deputy Special Envoy for Climate Change at the U.S. Department of State, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Congressional Affairs at the U.S. National Security Council, and in various capacities in the U.S. Congress.

Alessandro Blasi
Senior Advisor to the Executive Director. Alessandro Blasi provides strategic support to the IEA Executive Director on various topics. He is in charge of assigned priority projects and maintaining relationships with the private sector. Before he co-lead work on IEA’s World Energy Investment Report and contributed as a senior analyst to the World Energy Outlook.

Ronja Enders
Coordinator for Climate and Labour, Institute for Sustainable Regional Development in Europe (PECO). Ronja is Coordinator for Climate and Labour at the PECO Institute, a specialized institute within IG BAU - the German Trade Union for Construction Workers affiliated to Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI) focusing on sustainability in construction and forestry, occupational health and safety, climate change, and worker relations. Her expertise lies in sustainable construction methods, materials, and their implications for the workforce. Prior to her current role, Ronja worked as a lobbyist for Volkswagen and Friends of the Earth Bavaria, bridging industry insights with environmental advocacy. She initially trained as a laboratory assistant in chemistry before pursuing academic studies in International Relations.
