The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Values for energy are the Methane Tracker estimates for 2021. For non-energy sector emissions, these are taken as an average of estimates available for 2018 or 2019 from UNFCCC, CAIT, EDGAR and CEDS (see Methodology for further information).
