Background

The IEA and UN-ECLAC convened policymakers from eleven Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries to share energy efficiency policy experience.

Agenda

Participants List

The meetings began with a session where participants presented energy efficiency activities either planned or under development in their countries.

The second session, led by the IEA, focused on two areas of particular interest, energy efficiency indicators {Taejin Park presentation} {Indicators Template} and energy efficiency transport policies {John Dulac presentation}.

In the final working sessions {Grayson Heffner presentation}, participants divided into subgroups to discuss the IEA 25 Energy Efficiency Policy Recommendations and the relevance of these recommendations to their country contexts and priorities.  Rapporteurs shared the findings of the subgroups with the other participants.
