Description:Burn Wise is a partnership program of the EPA that emphasizes the importance of burning the right wood, the right way, in the right wood-burning appliance to protect homes, health, and the air quality. This program was recently formed from EPAs former Hydronic Heaters Program and Wood Stoves and Fireplaces Program. These partnership programs encourage manufacturers to improve air quality through developing and distributing cleaner, more efficient outdoor wood-burning appliances.
