The Executive Order requires Federal agencies to expedite the increased supply, conservation, and availability of energy by accelerating their review of permits or to take other actions as necessary to accelerate the completion of the projects, while maintaining safety, public health, and environmental protections. The Order further establishes an Interagency Task Force to monitor and assist the agencies, as necessary, to accelerate the completion of energy-related projects. The EO is amended by EO 13302.
