The Affordable Warmth Scheme is the Department for Social Development’s Scheme for addressing fuel poverty in the Private Sector. It is being delivered across Northern Ireland on behalf of the Department by the Housing Executive and the local Councils. Householders in the Private Sector (owner-occupiers or renting) i and have a total gross annual household income of less than £20,000, may be entitled to a range of energy effciency improvement measures under the Scheme.
