Sector Resilience Plans set out the resilience of each national infrastructure sector to the relevant risks identified in the National Risk Assessment. The Plans are placed before Ministers to alert them to any perceived vulnerabilities, with a programme of measures to improve resilience where necessary. Energy sector is one of vulnerable infrastructures. Major risks to the energy sector are flooding, including coastal flooding, storms and gales, and loss of key staff.
