Legislative decree No.15 of 16.2.2011 establishes a framework for the placing on the market, putting into service and the free movement of energy related products, excluding categories of means of transport of passengers and goods. The products, under Article 9, before being placed on the market or put into circulation, must be declared compliant and marked with the symbol "CE", so that the manufacturer or his authorized representative or, in the absence of the representative, the importer, guarantee and declare that the product complies with all relevant provisions of the applicable implementing measure, or the provision of implementing the same measure.
