Climate Change Description:A national information campaign, sponsored by ADEME (Agency for the Environment and Energy Management) will run from 2004 to 2006. It is called Economies dEnergie. Faisons vite ça chauffe. It is aimed at consumers with the objective of introducing energy efficiency in every day practices. The campaign is twofold: - It is supported by a mass-media plan on television and radio. It includes features such as a “what you can do” section, with examples of ways to help slow down climate change at home or at work ; - It fields operations with partnerships, in the framwork of a club named Planète Ganante. In parallel, ADEME launched an information campaign, in November 2004, aimed at fuel economies. Through leaflets distributed by people working in the automotive sector and in petrol stations, 10 gestures illustrating the reduction of fuel conumption by 10% were explained. 20 milllion copies were diffused in November 2004.
