Description:

The plan strengthens the energy efficiency and pollutants emission standards applied to coal power plants. The coal power plants with the capacity of over 600 MW are required to achieve the efficiency target of 300g of coal equivalent/kWh by 2020. The coal power plants under construction or planned are required to reach the same level of pollutants emission as natural gas power plants.
