Fund financing Moroccan Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy interventions. A total of €110 million has been allocated to finance small scale projects and industrial projects.

MorSEEF is supported by the European Union and developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in collaboration with the European Investment Bank, the French Development Agency (Agence française de développement, AFD) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).

MorSEFF provides Moroccan companies access to:

  • Loans or leases for the acquisition of equipment or the realization of energy efficiency or renewable energy projects
  • An investment grant of 10% of the credit
  • Free technical assistance for project appraisal, implementation and verification
  • Local distribution by partner banks, BMCE Bank (and its subsidiary Maghrebail) and Banque Populaire (and its subsidiary Moroc Leasing).
