Clean Car Standard and Clean Car Discount

In mid 2019 the Government issued a discussion document on its proposal to reduce vehicle emissions by introducing a Clean Car Standard and Clean Car Discount. The policy would apply to all new and used light vehicles first registered in New Zealand after 2021. The Ministry of Transport is reviewing and analysing submissions in order to inform advice to Government.
