Increasing credit limits for households depending on efficiency rating

By the official gazette 30666 dated 25 January 2019 dated, regulations relating to the credit transactions of banks have been amended, including credit limits for households which have increased dependance on the rating of energy performance certificate in accordance with the Energy Efficiency Law from 2007 and the By-Law Energy Performance of Buildings. For the houses having A class of energy performance certificate, 90% of the value of the house can be taken as collateral for loans provided for purpose of acquiring housing and for the B class of energy performance certificate, 85% of the value of the household loan could be taken as collateral.
