Low Emissions Zone (Crit'Air)

In France, the scheme was introduced by the Energy Transition Act. Paris becamethe first city to seize it into force with the entry of its Low Emissions Zone backedby Crit'Air air quality certificates. In order to travel, motorists must display theCrit'Air sticker visibly on their windshield. The stickers provide an indication ofpollutants emitted by the vehicle. Six categories exist, with a corresponding colorand a specific vignette for electric vehicles.Initially, gasoline and diesel passenger cars of more than 10 years of age,motorized 2- and 3-wheelers more than 16 years of age and buses, coaches andheavy vehicles of more than 15 years of age are prohibited Monday to Friday from8 am to 8 pm.These restrictions will progressively affect more and more categories of vehicles
