Energy Efficiency Performance Labels for Buildings

The government has created a "High Energetic Performance" label which is attributed on a voluntary basis to buildings which exceed the mandatory thermal efficiency requirements. The energy consumption of buildings constructed according to this label is inferior to 8% with regards to conventional consumption as set by the 2000 thermal regulation. The energy consumption of buildings constructed according to the "Very High Energetic Performance" label is inferior to 15% with regards to conventional consumption.
