ENERGY STAR - Certified New Homes

Last updated: 5 November 2017
ENERGY STAR Certified New Homes meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). ENERGY STAR certified new homes have energy efficiency savings of up to 30 percent when compared to typical new homes. A new home that earns the ENERGY STAR label undergoes a process of inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict requirements.
Both single- and multi-family buildings (including low-rise and high-rise) qualify under this program.
