Sustainable growth agenda / Pillar 1/ 4- Low-carbon solutions for communities and transport

The Finnish Sustainable Growth Programme supports ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable growth and to meet its target of carbon neutrality by 2035.

 

Within the first pillar of the plan ("The green transition supports economic restructuring and carbon-neutral welfare society"), this sub-area is structured with the following initiatives:

 

- Fossil-free traffic roadmap

 

- Tax reform for sustainable transport

 

- Investments to promote the replacement of fossil fuels by supporting electricity and biogas use in public transport & refuelling infrastructure (EUR 20 million)

 

- Investments for the deployment of charging infrastructure in housing associations and workplaces (EUR 20 million)
