Recovery and resilience plan - Sustainable road transport

Last updated: 16 July 2021

The Sustainable Road Transport component of the Recovery and Resilience Facility is designed to aid in reducing greenhouse gases in Denmark by reducing emissions in the transport sector. The transport sector alone is one of the largest emitters of GHG in Denmark, responsible for 25% of national emissions. The plan is composed of the following initiatives: incentives to choose green cars, analysis tests, and campaigns for greener transport, and green transportation and infrastructure. The initiatives set a goal to lower greenhouse gas contributions by 2.1 Mt and have 1 m. zero or low emission cars in 2030.
