Policy packages for clean energy transition

Description:

Clean energy transitions are necessary to deliver Paris Agreement objectives and will require a complex mixture of policies. This event will highlight how different countries are addressing the challenges and opportunities of implementing policy packages in the “real-world” context. Among the key issues, it will look at integration and interaction of climate and energy policies such as the role of moderate carbon pricing within the broader policy mix as well as achieving multiple policy objectives in addition to decarbonisation (such as energy affordability and cleaner air).
