Projections: Energy Policies of IEA Countries online data service 2017 edition - (expires 31 August 2018)

This service contains projections for 29 IEA countries that are collected directly from the Member Countries for the series on Energy Policies of IEA Countries. The assumptions used to compile these forecasts vary depending on the country and are not documented centrally by the IEA. These forecasts are not part of the World Energy Outlook model.

Energy balances are provided for supply and consumption in million tonnes of oil equivalent (Mtoe). 

Definitions of products and flows, explanatory notes on the individual country data, indicators (including GDP and population) are included. Where available, data are given for 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2020, 2030, 2040 and 2050 (see expanded product description for more detail on forecast availability).

The service is updated every year in September.

* Note on multi-user licences. Apart from the Global Licences, subscriptions are for a single legal entity. 

Data points may be used to access the online data services and the browser works best on Internet Explorer (if using Version 10 it should be in compatibility mode). The data services uses Beyond 20/20 software and if you want to download an entire database and install the B20/20 software, then you must be running on a Windows-based system. The B20/20 software cannot be installed on a Mac computer.
