Building on the IEA’s set of global energy technology roadmaps and in response to an increasing number of requests for assistance in tailoring the IEA’s global roadmaps to national frameworks, the Technology Platform launched the How2Guide initiative with a view to creating a series of manuals to guide policy makers in developing and implementing technology-specific roadmaps at the national level. Each How2Guide (H2G) is drafted with inputs from Member and Partner countries, as well as other stakeholders, via one or more international or regional workshops.
