International Low-Carbon Energy Technology Platform

How2Guides

Building on the IEA’s set of global energy technology roadmaps and in response to an increasing number of requests for assistance in tailoring the IEA’s global roadmaps to national frameworks, the Platform launched the How2Guide initiative in 2012 with a view to creating a series of manuals to guide policy makers in developing and implementing technology-specific roadmaps at the national level. Each How2Guide (H2G) is drafted with inputs from Member and Partner countries, and other stakeholders, via one or more international or regional workshops.
