IEA Member countries are taking climate change seriously and have implemented numerous climate mitigation policies. More needs to be done. Current policies must be augmented to achieve the emission reductions required under the Kyoto Protocol and even more action will be required to stabilise greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere.
