Background:

Aims: The workshop will focus on: 1) methodology, data requirements and applications of the IEA indicator approach and 2) consider how to work on indicators in a global context.
Energy indicators are powerful tools that can be used to better inform the policy decision process. As such, indicators can help decision makers define policy, and policy instruments, best suited to meet domestic and/or international objectives. An important element of the IEA’s work on energy indicators is to increase the transparency and quality of energy-use data.
Target audience: This workshop will be relevant for energy efficiency decision makers, officials responsible for collection and reporting of energy data and statistics and energy policy analysts in both IEA Member and non-Member countries.
An agenda will be made available shortly. |
