Background: |
In 2004, the IEA End Use Working Party (EUWP) decided to run an investigation on policy recommendations from transport related Implementing Agreements with the purpose to accelerate the deployment of its technological results towards market introduction. This investigation has been presented and discussed at relevant Executive Committee meetings and encountered great interest. The EUWP organises this workshop to collect and synthesize the answers into policy recommendations. All IEA transport related Implementing Agreements are invited and the recommendations will form the base for further EUWP actions and decisions.The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Centre for Energy Policy and Economics (CEPE) of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and will involve an excursion with the title "Past, present and future policies in transport energy decisions". Participation is limited to contributors and some official observers. |
| Proceedings: | The proceedings will be distributed on a CD and a synthesis paper based on the contributions will be produced by the organizers. |
