Background:

The principal topics of this workshop will be:
- Overall status of standby, with a special emphasis on the Eastern Asia and Pacific regions
- Harmonizing test procedures, specifications, and standards
- Coordinating global procurement policies on standby
- Accelerating progress on revision of test procedures to reflect acceptance of the IEC test procedure on standby (IEC 62301)
- Activities extending beyond standby (e.g., dealing with other low power modes) |
