CCS Developing Country Roundtables
As part of the ongoing CCS road mapping process the IEA have organised a set of Roundtable meetings looking at the status of, and unique issues concerning, deployment of CCS in different key regions of the world. Through the roundtable meetings, the IEA seeks to engage key stakeholders from the government, business and NGO sectors in order to update global CCS development and provide targeted input into the CCS Roadmap process. The Roundtables include both expert and non-expert stakeholders and allows for an exchange of views on possibilities and constraints for implementation of CCS in the region.
The purposes of this meeting are to:
- Share knowledge of international trends on CCS
- Learn different regional perspectives on CCS — challenges and opportunities
- Update the IEA CCS roadmap based on these findings
