New (April 2017): A preliminary version of this online data service has just been released.
The Oil Information 2017 data service contains time series of oil data for 35 OECD countries from 1960 to 2015. Country aggregates for OECD Total, OECD Americas, OECD Asia Oceania, OECD Europe and IEA 29 are also included. Statistics are available for detailed supply/demand balances, end-use consumption, trade by origin and destination as well as for stock levels and changes. Annual Oil Statistics (AOS) contains data in thousand metric tons for crude oil, NGL, and 17 petroleum products. Some major series for oil demand and supply for the world are also included.
The July 2017 update will include data up to 2015, with provisional data for 2016 for OECD countries and estimates for 2016 for non-OECD countries.
The service contains six files:
OECD crude supply, OECD product supply and consumption, OECD imports, OECD exports, OECD conversion factors
These files contain time series of oil data for 35 OECD countries and five regions from 1960 to 2015.
Detailed supply/demand balances, end-use consumption by sector, trade by origin and destination as well as stock levels are available for crude oil, NGL, and 17 petroleum products.
Data are in thousand metric tons, with conversion factors to barrels provided in the file OECD conversion factors.
World Oil Statistics
The file contains time series for 1971 to 2014 for the World, 164 countries and 15 regional aggregates on crude oil and NGL production, trade, total refinery output, and oil demand split in 11 product categories.
Estimates for World crude and NGL production and total oil demand are provided for 2015. Data are expressed in kilo tonnes and in kilo barrels per day.
The service is updated twice a year - in May with complete data up to year-2 and in July with additional provisional supply data for the year-1.

Data points may be used to access the online data services and the browser works best on Internet Explorer (if using Version 10 it should be in compatibility mode). The data services uses Beyond 20 software and if you want to download an entire database and install the B2020 software, then you must be running on a Windows-based system. The B2020 software cannot be installed on a MAC computer.
