Description:

To increase the amount of energy efficient renovation in old buildings, the Building Programme has been implemented. The Building Programme is composed by two initiatives:

  • A federally sponsored scheme that addresses improved insulation of building components in buildings constructed before 2000.
  • A funding programme, available in almost all Switzerlands cantons, that encourages the use of renewable energy, waste heat, improved building technology and also total building renovation.
