Energy Efficiency Description:

The scheme of the Centres for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) seeks to develop expertise and promote innovation through focus on long-term research in selected areas of environment-friendly energy.  The research activity is carried out in close co-operation between prominent research communities and users. In 2016 new centres are established in the fields of hydropower, solar cells, energy efficiency in industry, zero-emission transport, zero-emission neighbourhoods, biofuels, carbon capture and storage and smart grids.
