Description:

In line with the Special Measures Law for Promoting the Use of New Energy, METI provides subsidies for R&D projects that will contribute to the diffusion of new and renewable enrgy. The budget amount of R&D project for new and renewable energy (incluing fuel cells) is 34.8 billion yen in FY2013. R&D projects funded cover various types of new and renewable energy sources in a variety of sectors (electricity, heat, transport).
