Description:

Assistance for energy-efficient redevelopment of building stock units with low-interest loans. The programme is a component of the National Climate Protection Programme and of the Growth and Employment Programme. From 2007 onwards, under certain conditions direct subsidies were awarded as an alternative to the low interest loans. A condition of the assistance was the carrying out of several individual
measures (so-called packages of measures), with minimum technical requirements being made in some cases. Continuation of the programme as KfW Energy-Efficient Redevelopment Programme.
