Description:

This programme is a successor of the "Solarthermie2000" programme. It concentrates on the support of pilot systems, enabling researchers to test their results under real conditions and modify the technology to develop well-functioning and market orientated systems. Eligible solar thermal collectors must have a minimum area of 100 m². Financial support is offered for the system itself and for accompanying research. Non-repayable grants covering up to 50% of the investment cost are provided to public institutions, foundations, public utilities, property companies and private companies.
