However, this PAM may still be in force and bring significant emissions reductions.
The Tekes Fuel Cell Programme aims to improve opportunities for Finnish industry to create breakthrough products in selected fuel cell product segments. The overriding idea is to develop solutions and value networks ranging from fuels to end-use applications. The value of the end product comes from fuel handling, material solutions, system components, application integration and services. The Tekes Fuel Cell programme creates an environment in which the development of fuel cell technologies and services can succeed. The programme will run from 2007 to 2013, with a total funding volume of EUR 144 million. The programme is Finlands commitment to the Joint Technology Initiative on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells under the EU Framework 7 Programme. It also provides foreign players in the sector with a channel for creating cooperation partnerships between researchers and enterprises alike.
