The regulations mandate for a minimum annual average of 7.5% ethanol content in all fuel available for sale in Saskatchewan. They also include a requirement for eligible fuel distributors to purchase 30% of their ethanol requirements from Saskatchewan ethanol producers with an annual design capacity of 25 million litres or less.
This regulation is in effect until March 31, 2020.
