Energy management Information System (EMIS) is a performance management system that allows you to monitor and analyze energy usage in your organization. It provides the information required to make decisions and take operational action to improve energy efficiency. Efficiency Nova Scotia provides funding and will facilitate the installation, training and evaluation of EMIS equipment within an organization.

EMIS can help an organization:

  • Identify energy savings in reduced load and operational variability;
  • Reduce operating costs and increase profits;
  • Create accountability for energy costs within all areas of an organization; and,
  • Reduce operating costs and increase margins.
