|Funding:||• 50% of the initial $10,000 and 25% of the remaining cost of a feasibility study(to a maximum of $15,000) • 50% of project costs for implementation projects (to a maximum of $250,000 – projects with higher costs are assessed on a case-by-case basis) • Funding is available to support on-site energy managers|
Manitoba Hydro’s Performance Optimization Program promotes energy efficiency through the optimization of electric motor-driven industrial systems such as air compressors, pump and fan systems, industrial refrigeration, process heating, electro-chemical processes and energy management systems. The result is greater efficiency, lower operating costs and improved system performance.
Manitoba Hydro approved an enhanced version of the Performance Optimization Program in May of 2014 that includes significant support for embedded Energy Managers in larger industrial and commercial facilities. There is no set incentive rate for this support due to the varying needs and requirements among customers
