Funding:The R-2000 program is funded under the ecoENERGY Efficiency initiative, which has been allocated CAD 195 million in federal funding over five years (fiscal year 2011/2012 to fiscal year 2015/2016).
Energy Efficiency Description:

Energy Efficiency label for low-rise homes that indicates an energy performance 50% better than a home built to code. This program works with innovative builders to de-risk technologies and facilitate their entry into a broader market.
