Energy Technology Perspectives 2012 (ETP 2012) is the International Energy Agency’s most ambitious publication on new developments in energy technology. It demonstrates how technologies – from electric vehicles to smart grids – can make a decisive difference in achieving the objective of limiting the global temperature rise to 2°C and enhancing energy security.
This webinar will focus on the role of the power sector in achieving the 2°C scenario presented in ETP 2012. In particular, the technology options to decarbonise the electricity system as well as the contribution of the electricity sector to mitigate carbon dioxide emissions in the end-use sectors are discussed.
Speakers will include Dr. Markus Wråke, project leader of Energy Technology Perspectives, and Dr. Uwe Remme, energy modeller in ETP.
After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Webinar.
