Key World Energy Statistics 2015 available for free download in time for climate talks

Most popular IEA publication offers a wealth of at-a-glance energy data, including CO2 emissions

The 2015 edition of the IEA Key World Energy Statistics is now freely available, providing headline global, regional and national data on the most important energy-related topics.

Key World Energy Statistics 2015 offers headline statistics on production, transformation and consumption of energy in more than 140 countries and regions, including global and regional overviews. It lists the top ten energy producing, trading and consuming countries plus, particularly useful ahead of the United Nations COP21 global warming negotiations, climate-critical data such as CO2 emissions by fuel and country. In addition, it shows total primary energy supply from 1973 to 2014 as well as snapshots on other subjects ranging from electricity generation from renewables to coal production to gross domestic product, with a glossary describing each indicator.
