IEA at OECD Meeting of the Council at Ministerial Level

IEA Executive Director Nobuo Tanaka contributed to the discussion of Green Growth Strategy at the OECD Meeting of the Council at Ministerial Level, which took place in the OECD Conference Centre on 28 May 2010.
Taking a lead speaker role, Mr. Tanaka introduced the IEA energy path to Green Growth, the joint study on fossil fuel subsidies tasked from G20, and the soon-to-be-published book Energy Technology Perspectives.
Mr. Tanaka also exchanged views in bilateral meetings with Minister of Finance George Papaconstantinou of Greece, Minster for Economy, Innovation and Development Joao Vieira da Silva of Portugal and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy Marcin Korolec of Poland.
