IEA at Shanghai Expo

IEA Sustainable Energy and Technology Policy Director Bo Diczfalusy gave a well-received presentation on energy technology trends and joined the summing-up panel at the full-day Nordic-Chinese Energy and Climate Day conference.
The event, which was moved throughout the day among the Finnish, Danish, Swedish, Icelandic and Norwegian Pavilions at the Shanghai World Expo, was well attended by Chinese and Nordic government officials, energy industry representatives, and experts, who put forth a variety of ideas for cooperative energy activities to harness the innovative capacities of the Nordic countries to meet the challenges of meeting China's fast-growing demand for energy services along with its ambitious sustainability goals.
