EU joins International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation

Ambassador Cristina Narbona Ruiz of Spain signed the Terms of Reference for the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) and IPEEC Memorandum with the IEA, which is the host for the IPEEC Secretariat.
In so doing, the European Union officially joins IPEEC. The signing occurred on 26 January 2009 during the Second IPEEC Executive Committee which was held at the IEA Headquarters in Paris.
