WEO Findings Presented at NYC Universities

IEA Deputy Executive Director Richard H. Jones presented key findings from the World Energy Outlook 2009 at Columbia University and Fordham University in New York on Nov 30.
At the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, the audience included students and representatives from industry.
The Fordham event, organised by the Business Council for International Understanding and the Graduate Business School, focused on the economic implications of carbon regulations. After Ambassador Jones finished his presentation, a discussion on carbon regulation followed with three panelists: Dr. Dominique Salvatore (Professor - Departmnet of Economics, Frodham University), Dr. Jorge Rodriguez (Former Minister of Economy and Energy - Chile) and Mr. Jerry Eyster (Senior Vice President, GE Energy Financial Services).
