Thailand-IEA Joint Emergency Response Exercise, Bangkok
18 May 2009
The Ministry of Energy of Thailand and the IEA are holding a Joint Emergency Response Exercise (ERE), in Bangkok, on 18-19 May 2009. This is the first ERE that the IEA has jointly held with a specific country, and it is also the first time that the IEA has held an ERE outside of its Paris Headquarters. This reflects the strong bilateral relationship between the IEA and Thailand and Thailand’s interest to better establish its national oil and gas emergency response mechanisms.
