The Indian Minister of Statistics and Program Implementation welcomed the participants at the 2nd Oslo City Group on Energy Statistics which took place on 5-7 February in New Delhi.

The Oslo group on energy statistics is established to be a forum for the countries to discuss methodological issues, learn from good pracatices and to contribute to the methodological development of energy statistics.

Mr. Jean-Yves Garnier, Head of the Energy Statistics Division and Mrs Karen Treanton actively participated in the debate.
