CHP/DHC Collaborative Participants

There are 3 types of organisations participating in the IEA's International CHP/DHC Collaborative: Partner, Collaborator, or Network Member.

Partners
Partners are organisations that are offering their leadership, expertise and resources to support the Collaborative. Partners present a voluntary financial contribution to the IEA, thereby providing the basic funding support needed for the Collaborative to meet its objectives. Partners are also consulted by the IEA as it moves forward with analysis, production of materials, and the formulation of outreach strategies.  Partners are recognised in IEA materials for their contributions. There are currently 13 Partner organisations, including:

Alstom
Akzo Nobel
Caterpillar, Inc.
Chevron Energy
ConocoPhilips
The Dalkia Group
Dow Chemical
Euroheat & Power
Exxon Mobil
Helsinki Energy
Iberdrola
International District Energy Association (IDEA)
Japan Gas Association
Korea District Heating Corporation
RWE npower

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Collaborators
In addition to Partners, a number of government agencies, industry, and non-governmental organisations participate as Collaborators by offering expertise and support to advance the goals of the Collaborative. For example, Collaborators provide data, leverage outreach, and assist in drafting best practice case studies for potential inclusion in IEA publications. There are currently over 40 Collaborators.

Network
Those participants that make up the larger Network are informed about meetings, publications, and outreach.  The network includes almost 300 participants.
