Background:
|
This workshop will examine the tools that roadmaps provide and explore the necessary steps to achieve implementation. It will build upon the Experts' Group’s previous analysis of roadmaps, and approaches and strategies for enhancing international technology collaboration. The IEA wind roadmap has been chosen as an example.
There are three sessions: First, experts will provide an international perspective designing roadmaps and analysis of the costs associated with implementation.
The second session will focus on experiences, first from governments in IEA Member and IEA non-Member countries, followed by wind manufacturers and the finance community.
The last session is reserved for open discussion on the issues, challenges and next steps towards implementation.
Attendance to this workshop is by invitation only. |
