Background:
|
The overall objective of the technical meeting, "Applications of Nuclear Techniques in Studies of Materials for Hydrogen Storage and Fuel Cell Technology" is to present the state-of-the-art in performance testing and micro-structural characterization of the recent and/or candidate materials for fuel cells and hydrogen storage with special focus on the application of nuclear techniques. Specific objectives of the meeting are to:
- Support new trends in R&D programs and actions related to the investigation of the materials properties for fuel cells and hydrogen storage technologies, in particular through nuclear techniques;
- Identify a methodology for application of nuclear techniques with particular focus on harmonization and testing of material parameters;
- Strengthen international and regional cooperation and networking between scientists with a special emphasis on sharing best practice and technology transfer.
Participation is by invitation only. |
