Background:
|
The phase-out of inefficient lighting has been widely acclaimed as one of the most important short term initiatives in
combating climate change.
Phase-Out 2008 is an international forum for key stakeholders to meet and exchange information on the initiatives
taking place around the globe. It is an opportunity to share experience and lessons learned, consider key challenges
to the phase-out and implications for industry, and identify how the move towards efficient lighting can benefit from
cooperation at the regional and international level. |
